Lead developer and systems architect for Swedish Post’s address database to manage and maintain the Swedish postcode database.
The project objective was to on behalf of Swedish Post (the leading Swedish mail operator) maintain and develop the database and system to manage the postcode database with about half a million street addresses over some 15.000 postal codes.
The database used was originally Interbase but migrated to Sybase and a new Delphi client in 2006/2007, which I developed. That database was later migrated to Oracle and a new web-based client was developed and is still used today (2016).
